LRT + BRT Shelter design concepts

LRT Shelter Design Concept | 1.0

The City of Aurora is establishing a new rail stop one of several LiteRail lines that are now weaving their way through Denver, CO.  The City of Aurora was looking for a design that complimented their city symbol of "Sun Rays".  Two shelters needed to be designed.  A side platform shelter, as well as a center platform shelter.  These were images above were early concepts in the design phase leading to the final image shown below.

Architecture For Humanity [FEED DENVER]



Architecture For Humanity in affiliation with Feed Denver have launched a local design competition for [Urban Greenhouse Prototypes].  This is an opportunity for architects, engineers, designers and horticulturists to put on their thinking caps and start brainstorming on ways to bring agriculture to the forefront of urban life.  Our design, [U]farm, is meant to be portable, flexible in function, and easy to assemble.  This is an ongoing project that will last until February of 2011.
